Going to France for the summer :)

I'm going to France :)

In three weeks time I will be jumping on a jet plane,

to spend the summer in France.

How amazing is that?!

 

This is the diary of my journey -

I cannot begin to imagine
 the things I will see and do!

Although I did have a taste of France last year

and I am counting down the days til I go again.
Three weeks from now :)

 

Am travelling with my son,Jake.

He is racing (enduro mountain biking)

most weekends so our itinerary

is planned around these races.

We"ll be travelling thousands of kilometres

taking in much of southern France,
a little of northern Italy and

down into Spain and Andorra.

Maybe even a small side trip into Germany.

Just depends :)

 

The scenery is breathtakingly beautiful,
winding village streets...

 

 beautiful little churches
high up in the hills...

 

captivating and completely enchanting villages...

...fields of lavender,

and wildflowers up in the mountains

unlike anything I've ever seen. 

...is it any wonder I am so excited about going back:)

 

So I'll pop by here,

 hopefully on a regular basis,

to post some thoughts,

and pics

of my summer in France.
